Individuals living with behavioral and mental health illness often have co-existing health conditions which can be addressed by Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy. The purpose of Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy is to increase an individual’s ability to live as independently as possible in the community while engaging in meaningful and productive life roles. This seminar will prepare clinicians to implement effective interventions for patients living with behavioral and mental illness. Educational level: Intermediate. Contact hours: 4.5 Target audience: OT, COTA, PT, PTA, SLP Satisfactory completion criteria: Complete pre-/post-test, view all modules and video clips, complete all associated quizzes, submit course evaluation.
