Compassion fatigue is the distress resulting from the continual demands of caring for others and witnessing pain and trauma. Compassion fatigue affects therapists not only job satisfaction, emotional and physical health, but also the workplace environment.  This seminar will describe the stages, causes, symptoms, and consequences of compassion fatigue.
