This seminar provides an overview of evidence-based practice treatment approaches for aphasia.  This includes a variety of techniques to address the specific deficits of language modalities, such as verbal expression, auditory comprehension, reading and writing.  Participants will have the opportunity to see many of these techniques demonstrated through use of videos.  At the conclusion of this comprehensive course, the speech language pathologist will have an understanding of over 20 different treatment approaches, from which they can choose to utilize to best address the clinical needs of their clients.  Educational level:  Intermediate.  Contact hours:  5.0.  Target audience: SLP  Satisfactory completion criteria:  Complete pre-/post-test, view all modules and video clips, complete all associated quizzes, submit course evaluation.
