The management of symptoms related to cancer and its treatment is an important part of cancer care, affecting the completion of treatment and quality of life, as well as physical and psychological functioning.  This seminar will identify the role of Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy in managing the effects of cancer in older adults.  In addition, this seminar will prepare clinicians to develop an effective plan of care and interventions for clients living and surviving with cancer.  Educational level:  Intermediate.  Contact hours 6.0.  Target audience:  OT, COTA, PT, PTA, SLP. Satisfactory completion criteria: Complete pre-/post-test, view all modules and video clips, complete all associated quizzes, submit course evaluation.  AOTA Content Focus -- Occupational Therapy Process: Approaches to Intervention. ASHA approved for .60 ASHA CEUs.
