This course will review the assessments, interventions and related factors for residents who have conditions with significant nutritional deficits.  Participants will learn about a variety of factors and associated risks of poor nutritional status, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the interdisciplinary roles and to best work together toward addressing the overall needs of these residents.  Educational level:  Intermediate.  Contact hours:  3.0.  Target audience:  OT, COTA, PT, PTA, SLP  Satisfactory completion criteria:  Complete pre-/post-test, view all modules and video clips, complete all associated quizzes, submit course evaluation. ASHA approved for .30 ASHA CEUs. AOTA Content Focus – Domain of OT/Areas of Occupation.
