The purpose of this course is to review trends related to ADR, RAC and Insurance audits focusing on medical review trends by payer, denial trends, and audit triggers.  Participants in this session will be offered practical tips and strategies for auditing therapy records for accuracy and compliance with Medicare regulations.  Educational level:  Intermediate.  Contact hours:  2.0  Target audience:  OT, COTA, PT, PTA, SLP  Satisfactory completion criteria:  Complete pre-/post-test, view all modules, complete all associated quizzes, submit course evaluation.  AOTA Content Focus -- Professional Issues: Legal, Legislative & Regulatory Issues.  ASHA approved for .20 ASHA CEUs.
