This session will examine the foundations of wound care education for staff in LTC Settings. Learners will examine key elements (role of multidisciplinary team, documentation and reimbursement, prevention, wound assessment and wound treatment) of effective education to support delivered wound care services. This session will also introduce strategies for making wound care learning engaging and fun in the LTC setting. Education Level: Intermediate Contact hours: 1.5 Target Audience: COTA, OTR, PT, PTA Satisfactory completion criteria: Complete pre/post-test, view all modules/videos, complete all associated quizzes, and submit course evaluation. AOTA Content Focus -- Professional Issues: Administration & Management
