Health is defined by the individual, according to her or his functional needs. Giving clients the resources to adopt healthy behaviors may enhance their quality of life. Physical, Occupational and Speech therapists have the ability to provide the environment, education, resources, motivation and encouragement to help an individual change their health behaviors and improve their level of personal health. This seminar will prepare clinicians to enable and sustain healthy behavior change with the residents in their community. Educational level: Intermediate.
