Wellness is an active process through which people become aware of, and make choices towards a more successful existence. Wellness Programs allow participants to participate in activities that enhance their quality of life. A Rehabilitation Wellness Program should incorporate the seven elements of wellness into their programs. Rehabilitation has the ability to provide the environment, education, resources, motivation and encouragement to help an individual rise to a level of personal wellness. This seminar will prepare clinicians to establish, implement and promote Wellness Programs in their community. Educational level: Intermediate.
