This course provides direction through complicating etiologies of patients with cardiac and pulmonary disease processes, along with the significant polypharmacy that goes with these clinical scenarios. It will include effective, evidence based resources and interpretive guidelines for the assessment and management of complex medical dysphagia patients.Educational level: Intermediate. Contact hours: 8.0 Target audience: SLPs.  Satisfactory completion criteria: Complete pre-/post-test, view all modules and video clips, complete all associated quizzes, submit course evaluation. ASHA approved for .80 ASHA CEUs.This course is NOT AOTA Approved.
