This session will
address key specific requirements for documentation
including: screens; evaluation/plan of care; reason for referral; prior level
of function; goals; progress reporting and discharge summary. Participants will
learn how to evaluate and articulate the medical necessity of their
client, illustrate the complexity of their skills to
support the necessity of your treatment plans and recognize through examples
what constitutes appropriate documentation. Educational level: Introductory. Contact hours: 2.0 Target audience: OT, COTA, PT, PTA, SLP Satisfactory completion criteria: Complete pre-/post-test, view all modules, complete all associated quizzes, submit course evaluation.
