Paid Feeding Assistant Training Program
This 8-hour training session meets Centers for Medicare and
Medicaid (CMS) guidelines for Paid Feeding Assistant Training.
It is divided into 9 different modules. The agenda and time for
each module is listed below.
Take note:
-
The learner should access each module in sequential order.
In each module, the learner will find a training video,
a handout, and for modules 2-8 a checkpoint quiz.
-
Each module has an associated handout that the learner can use
for notes.
-
After viewing the module video, the learner should meet with the
onsite instructor (RN/LPN) to review the checkpoint questions
for that module.
-
At the completion of the training, the learner should take the
online quiz hosted through SurveyMonkey. After successful
completion of the online quiz (passing score of 80%), a
certificate of completion for the classroom material will be
sent to the learner.
-
At the completion of the training, the learner will be expected
to complete several competency assessments as administered by
the onsite instructor (RN/LPN).
-
It is imperative that the learner review the collateral section
at the bottom of this page. Here one will find state-specific
guidelines and manuals as well as the manual that corresponds to
this online training program. The learner and facility
instructor are responsible for knowing and following any
state-specific guidelines.
The distance learning educational session is divided into several
PowerPoint slide show movies. The agenda below allocates run time
for each slide show.
